Don learned to fly when he was in the
Air Force at Kessler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi. He
finished his flight training for his Private Pilot with
Clinton Aviation at the Aprapahoe County Airport, (now
Centennial Airport) in 1969 and 1970. Don earned his
Commercial Certificate in 1990 and his CFI in 1992 and
upgraded to ATP in 1996. Don became the Assistant Chief
Flight Instructor in 1997.
Don is an active flight instructor for
Aspen Flying Club.
