Flying has opened a whole new
world, including barnstorming in an open cockpit bi-plane
he helped to restore. He has flown a number of different
tailwheel aircraft, and hopes to someday get type rated
in "the Ultimate Taildragger", the DC-3.
A part time flight instructor
with Aspen Flying Club since 1993, Steve still works as a
firefighter full time, is finishing his B.S. degree at
Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and in his spare
time is restoring a 1946 Taylorcraft BC12-D. As a past
Vice President of the Antique Airplane Association of
Colorado, he is still active in that organization, as
well. Steve is also currently flying a Citation V part time,
on a contract basis.
Steve can be reached at Aspen
