A.J. decided to pursue a career in aviation after a breathtaking discovery flight in Chattanooga, TN. A.J. started flying in 2014 and trained frequently in Nashville, Tennessee. After visiting the Estes Park, the Rocky Mountains began to call him and his wife. His family finally became Colorado residents in May 2017 and have enjoyed every moment. When A.J. isn’t at the airport, he is raising his son, and grilling a good steak.
Being a great pilot, according to him, isn’t about having great skills but making decisions that avoid having to use great skill. Preparation and decision making is how to make the most out of the sky.
