Flight Instructor: CFI, Airplane Single Engine Land, CFII, Mountain Flying Instruction

Doug graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B. S. in Business in 1976 and a D. D. S. in 1980. He served 3 years active duty in the Navy where he learned to fly in 1981. Retirement from the Navy occurred in 1998 after an additional 17 years of reserve duty at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora. Doug earned his CFI and CFII certificates in 1993. He is able to instruct at any time, day or night.

Doug believes those learning to fly, getting additional certificates or ratings, taking a mountain check-out, a flight review, an instrument proficiency check, a discovery flight, or just a “Brush Up”, should have as much fun and love-of-flying, as he does.
