James became a flight instructor to share the joy of flying with others.  James started flying in 2014 after finally taking the leap to pursue a long time dream.  He achieved his Private Pilot Certificate at the same airport where his father had learned to fly decades before.  Inspired by flying and no longer satisfied by working behind a desk in New York, he then decided to move Denver and become a flight instructor.  When he is not instructing, he can be found piloting aircraft in transportation of rescue animals from high risk areas to adoption locations.  When he is not flying, he can be found hiking with his own dogs in Colorado’s great outdoors.
For James, becoming a pilot is not just about learning to control an aircraft, but also about achieving a mindset that benefits all areas of life.  James believes the key to training good pilots is to provide the maximum possible number of experiences in a safe and enjoyable environment.
