Matt moved to Colorado in 2007 and received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history at Colorado State University, where he also worked as a teaching assistant and instructor. More recently, Matt worked as a high school history teacher for Aurora Public Schools and adjunct history professor at the Community College of Aurora before becoming a Certified Flight Instructor for Aspen Flying Club.  Matt did his flight training right here at Aspen, he loved the friendly environment and community so much he stayed on to teach with us. He has a passion for teaching and is thrilled to combine that with his passion for aviation.  Matt strives to provide a safe and fun learning environment with an exciting flying experience!
