8KCAB Xtreme Decathlon – N555XD – $189/wet

Few airplanes have generated the level of excitement, as has the American Champion Xtreme Decathlon. With its powerful engine and amazing aerobatic capability, the Xtreme Decathlon has been a huge hit on the airshow circuit. Now you can experience that same excitement. Aspen Flying Club is proud to be the only place in the country where you can rent an Xtreme Decathlon!

While not everyone will want to do the crazy maneuvers you’ll see performed in the Xtreme Decathlon at Sun n’ Fun or Oshkosh, every certificated pilot should take advantage of the Xtreme to brush up on (or be introduced to) spins and unusual attitude recovery. Practicing these maneuvers in such a capable aircraft will make you a better pilot, while enjoying the extra margin of safety afforded by flying a fully aerobatic airplane.
